Alexandru Lescau is a psychologist who has a large experience in addiction counseling. The main activity is in individual, group and family counseling, with alcohol or drug addicts or with their relatives.
Working experience was built during the years, having counseling sessions with the alcohol or drug addicts from the Romanian Blue Cross Treatment Centers from Sura Mica or Selimbar, in Sibiu County, a beautiful region in the southern Transylvania.
Blue Cross Romania is branches of the International Federation of Blue Cross with headquarter in Bern, Switzerland. In Romania this non-governmental organization was the first one who was built to help the addicts and their families.

Lately working experience and skills in addiction counseling area were upgraded by participating and graduating the training courses held by Romanian Ministry of Health and Family, Romanian Anti-Drug Agency, Swiss and German Blue Cross and the most pleasant experience, graduating the training course for addiction counselors and trainers, held by specialists in addiction area from De Hoop Organization, a Christian organization with a large experience in addiction treatment, who delivers care and treatment for the alcohol and drug addicts in Netherlands.

Alexandru Lescau is addiction counselor and trainer for addiction counselors inside Blue Cross Romania association with the headquarter in Sibiu. Graduated the final preparation stages in becoming psychotherapist in clinical (Milton Erickson) hypnotherapy and relaxation techniques.

He is the web designer of www.dependenta.ro and the initiator of the www.dependenta.ro/forum giving the opportunity for people to talk freely about substance addiction on the forum, sharing experiences and thoughts about how to handle or to deal with someone’s addiction to a substance.
